Debate..

Entering a new phase of life. Changes seems to be happening if wanted or not. "Our economy is bad? Gas is up, and how are you going to heat the house this winter? I am constantly reminded about how it is on the outside-by my patients. I hear more and more the "whoas" of society. Am I the local bartender? I have no idea how I am doing it or how it will work in the future. I know that I put a lot of faith in God and know that if he gets me this far, he will get me through.

Oh I am not living with rose colored glasses. I know that I have to make wise choices and not live above my means. I thought the other day that while the patients keep coming in, I need to work. So add a day here and there and save. Christmas is fast approaching and my 4oth is right around the corner. The youngest asked the other day about how much stuff cost? How much I make? I was quick to point out "bills of the month". I think he got it. I hope that they see that money doesn't grow on trees. Trying to teach lessons with out the having to go to school. Everyday stuff that is in his life. Importance of saving up to buy something that is worth more than the moment.

Saying a little prayer, realize that I am thankful for "ALL" I have. And I don't mean just the "STUFF".

Lots of money makes enjoying your self easier, but just having money not always makes you happier. There are a lot of expeirences to enjoy that cost little or no money. I belive experiences and relationships are of much greater value then just owning material items or keeping up with the Jones. Create your own standard of success, don't fall into the consumerism standard that inundates the mass media. Don't get me wrong, money allows you to enhance the experience, but all that can be taken away or lost in a split second. When it is all gone what is left. Your true freinds and your experiences. Also, many people get caught up in work and making money and don't get a chance to truely enjoy themselves. I think the key to happiness is enjoying yourself in any condition (be content). Not just enjoying yourself when times are good. The best way to realize this is by putting yourself in someone else's shoes. "Could be better, could be worse." Think about this the next time you judge the book by it's cover. If you don't know the history, you don't know. Take the time to understand all walks of life, all perspectives before you judge. You may learn something. Some of the happiest, richest, kindest, caring, give you the shirt off their back people are tucked in the nooks and cranies of society behind sterotypes and pigeon-holes. In a recent documentary i watched, the film maker walked from madrid to kiev talking to all walks of life. a guy from poland or madrid, who appeared to not have a pot to piss in, stated with a genuine smile; he would go to the lake or river on sunny days to see his dimonds (the sparkles on the water) all these dimonds made him the richest man in the world.

Money doesn't grow on trees only love does!

How can that be?

Where do doves reside? trees.

Have you ever put a pair of Love DOVES in your Christmas tree?

Have you ever received a card that said, "I LOVE YOU"?
The card came from a tree.

We all have our own tree, it is up to each individual to prune and nourish it, so we can reap the benefits of it's fruit and share with others.
Are you feeding your tree?

If you receive a blessing from someone, make sure you thank them for sharing the fruits of life!

Thank YOU DEE!!!
I love you, too!!!
